Sharpsburg is a small quiet town located in the east-central portion of Coweta county. The town has a small, charming library that’s open two days per month for lending and other times for special events and classes. The northern end of Sharpsburg has quick access to I-85, making it a great choice for commuters into the city. The middle area has many neighborhoods with large lots and borders Peachtree City to the east and Newnan to the west. The southern end of Sharpsburg is home to beautiful horse pastures and also the NCG Cinemas, Sams Club and Costco. New commercial development is in the process, bringing restaurants, medical facilities and shops to the GA-34 corridor.
